It’s a well done ad for sure and tells a nice story. But, it doesn’t show that the Guardian is a newspaper that is seeking to find a deeper truth about the world, rather this ad shows that the Guardian is a newspaper that follows the whims and rumors of twitter.
A world-class newspaper should be more thoughtful and seek objectivity and Truth rather than follow what the mob is saying.
I’m guessing that’s just too much to ask for as old-style newspapers are on the decline and being replaced by twitter, tumblr, and blogs.
