YOUR BEST GUESS
I’ll be doing commentary with Frances Bula on Election Night for CBC Radio (and Wednesday morning at 7:40 on Early Edition). So feel free to share your predictions on the Vancouver mayoral and council outcomes – and the reasons why – in Comments.

NPA answer: strongly agree.
Eh?
I did the survey, and as I considered questions, I couldn’t help but wonder how my answers would be interpreted in terms of political party support. I answered them honestly, and was surprised with the results:
COPE 23; Green 26; NPA 15; NSV 34; VV11 (Ignored the other box)
In fact, I’ll be voting about 65 to 70% NPA, and the balance split between VV and Greens and Indies!
Is the survey a set of good questions. Yes, many are. Although the Olympic Village question is questionable, as are a few others.
Are the results representative of answers and beliefs? No…at least not in my case. And I suspect in many other cases too!
This is interesting, since people with each party responded to each of the questions and that’s how they are aligned with your own answers. Given that, I can’t help but wonder if the test is a little more accurate than you might have expected, or be willing to consider. I know for me it was fairly spot on with how I intend to vote.
Slightly meaningless when the NPA doesn’t have a set position on 7 of the questions, including bike lanes, gambling revenue, and corporate donations.
