Seeing Paris and remembering a visit, it makes me sad to see how Vancouver has no sense of the urban esthetic. Paris doesn’t have the 60 story towers that we’re told we need. Paris has open spaces, architectural wonders, monuments of art and wide skyscapes.
Go to the corner of Main and 6th and look northwest at the building under construction – you will see the most monstrous example of urban development. It makes me weep for the future inhabitants of Vancouver.
