The Canadian Institute of Planners has provided a manual for planners and educators – A Kid’s Guide to Building Great Communities – that strikes me as a good introduction for anyone, particularly neighbourhood groups interested in, well, the ABCs.
And in Montreal they’ve put the kids to use: The Montreal Ecology Centre gave ’em cameras to make their neighbourhood safer and more pleasant for cyclists and pedestrians. Sounds subversive to me.
