From Michael Alexander:

While the Olympic Village and Sea-to Sky highway made the news, one of the best-used Olympic legacies can be found all around the downtown peninsula and the south shore of False Creek. They are the framed information panels with maps and guides, beneath a big logo of a circled i. Despite iPhones and GPS, you see people constantly referring to these old-fashioned, well-designed and helpful pieces of street furniture.

The only problem is that, six months after the Olympics, the legends and maps are referring to Host City Sites of Interest, Olympic Venues, Celebration Sites, LiveCity Downtown and other no-longer-existant locations. Worse, they warn that there’s no public access to Canada Place and other public sites.

Time for an update?
