“It really does beggar the imagination to understand why, given the consensus of the scientific community on this issue, why inaction (on climate change) was the order of the day,” said David Orr, conspicuously referring to the failure to address the issue in the past tense.
“We really don’t have a name to describe behavior of this sort,” Orr said of the resistance to dealing with climate change. “It is criminality beyond any language, concepts or laws that we presently have. It’s criminality that places the entire human enterprise at risk. And we simply have not been able to confront inaction that allows the entire human enterprise to slip into catastrophic failure.”
– David Orr is the author of “Down to the Wire: Confronting Climate Collapse” and five other books on politics and the environment.

Unfortunately the list that is posted is only but a few and if the entire list of all the events that have happen in just the last two weeks alone was to be posted it would be quiet a long one. these events are happening all over the globe and not just in asia.
I only hope people start to wake up. I still shake in disbelief when people complain about things such as losing parking on Hornby Street with the separated bike lane propposal when you contrast that to all that is happening around the world.
Ah! Another stirring claim of the phony consensus.
“Dealing with climate change” The climate is always changing. We live and we cope. By the way, didn’t this scam used to be called manmade global warming?
Say…..what’s that….explosion?
Another torpedo into one of the mainstays of manmade global warming……
