Passerelle of the Week: Taiwan

Ronald Chen reports in from Taiwan.

I recently visited a brand new bike overpass that connects a botanical garden to a wet land park.  

People here prefer going out during the night due to extreme heat in the day.  It was about 9:30pm when I took those photos.  Still very busy on the overpass.  

 Lighting of streets, outdoor cafe, and bridges here are often done in this elaborate way to create point of visual interest at night.  Too much light pollution and energy consumption I think . . .
