Just a guess, but I’m betting this ad is something you’ll only see in a few carefully selected neighbourhoods. And frankly, I just don’t get the wings.
UPDATE: Here’s another transit-stop ad in the Virgin series that, for some, might even be edgier than the one above:
Interestingly, I snapped it last night at the Langley Centre Exchange – in a far-distant suburb from downtown Vancouver.
I still don’t get the wings.

You’re correct, this version didn’t run in all cities. Even the hetero versions of the ads got pulled in Calgary: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/story/2010/01/07/calgary-virgin-mobile-ads-transit-racy.html.
Ironically, when you look at the outfits they wear and the positioning, in some ways the one with two men is much less provocative than the hetero ones, at least by the standard described by the representative of Calgary transit.
The same add here in new york was pulled last week.
Ah GP you’re being an old school gay! The boy and boy-angel ad can currently be seen on Rupert St across from the Rupert SkyTrain station. Virgin isn’t going to have just boring old hetero ads all over the place, we would faze those out way too quickly.
Gordon.
Screw the sex.
What kind of camera do you use?
Do you always cary one with you?
The same one? i.e. do you have a “serious”photo camera and then an “always with me” camera?
