In the last few weeks, Google Earth has fully illustrated the facades of every building in the centres of American cities. Before, a click on “3-D Buildings” got you masses of white blocks and a few articulated towers.
But as this shot of Nashville shows, the whole skyline is now filled in:
Notice, however, the sheer amout of surface parking. Maybe half the area of the downtown. Sad.














DEpends on the context and the stage of development or growth in Nashville – I don’t know much about the area.
