Kunstler Comes to Town

It’s always good to start the week off with a good rant.  So I go to James Kunstler’s blog here.  He rarely disappoints.
The author of “The Geography of Nowhere” and “The Long Emergency” is coming to town, hosted by SFU’s Urban Studies Program:

Monday, January 21, 2008, 7:00pm – “The Long Emergency is Surrey’s Problem, Too”, Room 2600 (Westminster Credit Union Theatre), SFU Surrey, 250-13450 102nd Ave, Surrey.
Thursday, January 24, 2008, 7:00pm – “The Long Emergency is Vancouver’s Problem, Too”, Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, 580 W. Hastings St, Vancouver.
As these are free public events with limited space, pre-registration is required. Please email urban@sfu.ca or telephone 778.782.7914 to reserve a seat.
Additional information about James Howard Kunstler can be found on his website: www.kunstler.com

  1. Woo! That’s perfect, I can head there straight from work on my way home. How deliciously convenient (for a change!) I look forward to it. Will you be at SFU Surrey, Gordon?
