Almost Instant Old

Photographer Alex Waterhouse-Hayward (his blog is here) sent along two intriguing photos of the Sun Tower.   Here’s the first:

And here’s the explanation:

1. Load German 6x 9 inch box camera with Technical Pan film (ISO 25).
2. Take pictures and store roll in drawer and forget about it.
3. I would guess that three years later I found it and processed it.
4. I lay the negative on my scanner and placed a sheet of white paper on top.
The camera that I used  is called a Gevabox.  The film, Technical Pan, was  discontinued by  Kodak a few  years ago. It was originally manufactured for use in solar flare photography. Photographers immediately found other uses for this scientific film.
