The Livable Region Coalition isn’t the only west-coast group fighting for more sensible options to highway widening. Down in Santa Cruz, California, the Campaign for Sensible Transportation is offering alternatives – Plan C – to a widening of Highway 1. It could just as well apply to our Highway 1 as an alternative to the Gateway Project.
