It’s a cliche, I know – but Vancouverites are so active, especially when the weather is nice. For instance, Saturday.
Begin with a run for a good cause in the morning.
Runners
Cycle over to East Van Farmers Market:
Farmers Market 1
Farmers Market 2
On the way back, check out David Lam Park for the Jazz Fest, where for some reason, they’ve bought out the hoola hoops:
Jazz Fest 1
The Kidzone is packed:
Jazz Fest 2
People scramble along the waterfront:
Jazz Fest 3
And just play on:
Jazz Fest 4
Stop for dinner on a patio and watch the party sail by on the Creek:
Boat Party 1
The music on the boat is bhangra, I think, or South Asian pop. At least it’s got a good beat as we cycle home along the seawall, looking forward to Canada Day.
