Pop Up Traffic Calming Devices-Neighbourhood Style

What do you do when your Metro Vancouver municipality builds wide streets and has vague commentary about slowing traffic? What do  you do when it is the middle of summer and the kids want to play stick ball on the street, bicycle, or walk over to their friends?

And there’s no chat about 30 km/h speed limits in your neighbourhood even though it is shown to make streets more walkable, rollable, cyclable, encourages sociability, and useability?

You know, more neighbourly, instead of giving in to the one century cultural hold of the right of vehicles to be efficient and go as fast as practicable and shortcut through neighbourhoods even through these are the same  streets kids play in?

You provide your own traffic calming.
