Mikael Colville-Andersen
Thu, 28 Jun 2012 7:30 PM
Admission: Free but reservations are required. Reserve
Mikael Colville-Andersen is known as Denmark’s bicycle ambassador. His approach to urban cycling promotion are well known through his blog Copenhagenize.com, and his Copenhagen Cycle Chic blog is credited with launching the global bicycle boom.
Colville-Andersen was born in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and grew up in Calgary. He will be speaking in Vancouver about his Four Goals for Promoting Urban Cycling and also about Bicycle Culture by Design: how the current traffic planning mindset is old-fashioned and outdated and how design can create viable, mainstream bicycle cultures, as well as liveable cities.
